document.readyState Alternative in Mozilla

with 2 comments

I was finding alternative for javascript functionality document.readyState in Mozilla for my project. That was very hardtime searching it. But as written in following article that onLoad event is called when document is rendered. Puzzled at reading that but it works for our project. 😦

Link : Alternative of readyState in Mozilla Link.

  1. Mani,

Thats kool you helpe me sort out an issue!

Indeed its a strange behaviour. But the behaviour might alter between Mozilla 3.5.X & Mozilla 3.6.X.

Because, there’s one other way to know whether the document has been ‘loaded’ or not. There’s a ‘readyState’ property of the DOM document. Again its NOT supported in v3.5.x but is available in v3.6.x.

IE seems to be a good boy for ALL this issues 🙂
