I received this while working with SendGrid. The issue was, we are not using Authentication before sending emails. Just set it up in our code and it works like charm.
I have problem installing SP1 as well as MVC 3 RTM.
Following is the kind of error which I was getting in installation.

I repair/reinstall VS 2010 so that I can install VS2010 SP1.
For MVC, I followed following article:-
Change the method’s message name using WebMethodAttribute or change the type’s root element using the XmlRootAttribute."
We have just received the error when we tried to return a type which contains Response behind it.
We have webmethod, UpdateStatus and we have following signature
Public Function UpdateStatus(….) as UpdateStatusResponse
But it gives us above exception when I try it using URL to access the service. Then after some debugging and googling, I found that, .NET uses internal class that uses UpdateStatusResponse. If I change the name to UpdateStatusResult and error gone
You might be using 32bit dll on 64bit machine. You can change project settings to compile it for specific target platform.
could not load file or assembly ‘microsoft.practices.objectbuilder’ or one of its dependencies. The parameter is incorrect. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070057)
Cleared the temporary file and problem is resolved
C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files\MyWebService
We got the error 1168 for the starting FTPSVC in IIS7 on windows 2008. But could not understand a bit as it is general error that could not read something.
Just go to Event Log>System section to see the full details of error and then you can search specific to it
